Function over form is mostly my motto, but in this case there was no compromise. The watch looks amazing, the black face with the brushed metal housing is a classic combination for any timepiece. This watch is a fully automatic winding watch which means you cannot manually wind it, that being said you should remember to wear it around and not leave it unused for too long or the spring will not keep the movement in motion and will stop keeping time.

I've been sporting the watch nearly everyday for a number of weeks currently. It's unbroken time dead solely gaining a few seconds daily. It's out and away the foremost correct automatic I own; even quite a number of my Swiss ETA movements. As way because the quality of the watch it appears nearly excellent. i like the scale and appearance of it. The Hardlex has delayed and that i still don't have any scratches on the dial or caseback (More time can tell however well it extremely holds up) the sole downside I even have with this watch is that it appears theres still some friction between the load and also the within the watch body. This has been inflicting it to typically keep the load stationary at some points instead of rotate because it ought to. It still spins with enough force however some traditional hand movements haven't been enough to stay the load moving. That being aforesaid it hasn't been an enormous enough downside to cause the watch to prevent on Maine. It still keeps ticking long once ive place it down. once some analysis i spotted this watch uses an equivalent movement because the noted Seiko Monster & may be a little bit of a workhorse for seiko.
